Russia and Iran to Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement in January 2025

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian conterpart Masoud Pezeshkian may meet in January 2025 to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, according to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.
Baghaei expressed hope that the agreement would be signed by the end of January. The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty is expected to mark a significant milestone in the development of Russian-Iranian relations, with provisions for cooperation in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, and agriculture.
