Rowing/World Championship-2024 : Algerian Sid Ali Boudina Qualifies for Semifinals

St. Catharines – Algerian rower, Sid Ali Boudina, qualified for the semifinals of the 2024 World Rowing Championship through the repechage race in the “Lightweight Single Sculls” category, which took place Monday evening in St. Catharines, Canada.
Boudina secured first place in the second heat of the repechage race, recording a time of (7 minutes, 51.56 seconds).
Alongside the Algerian rower, who also participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics, the repechage race featured competitors such as Pedro Dixon from Argentina, Frenchman Baptiste Savaïety, and Palestinian Younes Amal.
In addition to the senior category, this competition, taking place from August 18 to 25, is also open to the under-19 and under-23 categories (men and women).
