Rotterdam Protest Erupts Over Zionist F-35 Parts Shipment Despite Dutch Court Ban

ROTTERDAM — Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Rotterdam on Wednesday after a ship carrying parts for Zionist F-35 fighter jets docked at the city’s port, sparking outrage over the Netherlands’ continued involvement in arms transfers to the Zionist entity despite a court ruling prohibiting such exports.

Demonstrators gathered outside Rotterdam City Hall, chanting slogans like “Maersk profits from genocide,” accusing the Danish shipping company of aiding the Zionist entity’s aggression on Gaza. The protest highlighted a 2023 Dutch court decision that ordered a halt to the export of F-35 components to the Zionist entity, citing violations of international humanitarian law due to the ongoing war on Gaza.

Activists condemned local authorities for allowing the Maersk vessel to dock through indirect logistical channels, effectively bypassing the court’s order and facilitating the Zionist military industry. Protesters marched through the city center, blocked streets and tram lines, and staged a sit-in near the Erasmus Bridge, bringing traffic to a halt.

The Dutch government is under growing pressure from citizens and rights groups to sever military and trade ties with Israel, particularly as civilian casualties in Gaza continue to rise.
