Report Reveals Six Explosive Devices Used in Nord Stream Sabotage

A German newspaper, Welt, has reported that at least six explosive devices, not four as initially reported, were used in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines. The new information comes from updated sonar imagery and trial documents related to Nord Stream AG’s insurance claim. The revelations suggest a more coordinated and extensive attack on the pipelines, which were damaged in September 2022, disrupting the flow of gas from Russia to Europe. Investigations into the incident continue as authorities seek to determine those responsible for the attack.
