Real Madrid’s Ceballos Out Around Two Months with Hamstring Injury

Real Madrid has confirmed that midfielder Dani Ceballos suffered a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s match against Real Sociedad. According to the club’s medical report, tests revealed a semimembranosus muscle injury affecting the tendon in his left leg. The Spanish midfielder is expected to be out for around two months as he recovers.

This injury is a major setback for both Ceballos and coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The 27-year-old had solidified his place in the starting lineup, playing a crucial role in midfield. His absence will force Ancelotti to reshape his midfield, with Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric expected to take on more responsibility. Ceballos himself expressed disappointment on social media, stating that the setback came at a time when he felt he was at his best.

With a lengthy recovery ahead, Ceballos will face a challenge to regain his form and place in the team upon his return. Real Madrid will need to adapt quickly as they navigate a crucial stage of the season without one of their key playmakers.
