Vladimir Putin said Russia is fighting for its future, independence, truth, and justice, praising the country’s military personnel during a state awards ceremony marking Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The Russian president stated that Russian troops are operating in a coordinated and precise manner in the zone of what Moscow describes as its special military operation. He emphasized that those involved in the operation stand firmly in defense of Russia and its national interests.
Putin also paid tribute to military personnel serving in the conflict, saying the country honors those who risk their lives and fulfill their military duty with dedication and love for Russia. He described them as heroes defending the nation’s sovereignty and security.
