Putin: Russia Supports Ceasefires Despite Thousands of Violations by Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that Russia has always backed ceasefire initiatives, highlighting Moscow’s recent proposal for an Easter ceasefire. He stressed the importance of analyzing the experience gained from declaring this ceasefire.

Putin noted that Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire nearly 5,000 times but added that, despite these breaches, there was an overall reduction in military activity.
