The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, signed a presidential decree on Monday granting a full pardon for the remainder of the sentence of convicted prisoner Mohamed El-Amine Belghit, the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.
“Pursuant to the Constitution, in particular Articles 91 (7 and 8) and 182 thereof, and based on the advisory opinion issued by the Supreme Judicial Council, in accordance with the provisions of Article 182 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, today signed a presidential decree granting a full pardon for the remainder of the sentence of the definitively convicted prisoner, Mohamed El-Amin Belghit,” said the source.
