President Tebboune Holds Phone Call with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which he expressed his gratitude for all the efforts made by him and by the State of Qatar in support of the Palestinian cause, despite the recent aggression suffered by his country, the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.

“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, today held a telephone conversation with the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which he thanked him for all the efforts he is deploying, as well as the State of Qatar, in favor of the Palestinian cause, despite the recent aggression his country has suffered, encouraging him to continue these efforts so that the injustice inflicted on the brotherly Palestinian people may be lifted,” the statement read.

On this occasion, the Algerian President also discussed with the Emir of the State of Qatar the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, and “they agreed on a forthcoming meeting between them,” according to the same source.
