President Tebboune Departs Algiers for Official Visit to Italy

The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, departed from Algiers on Tuesday afternoon for an official visit to the Republic of Italy. During this visit, he will oversee the proceedings of the 5th session of the high-level Algerian-Italian Government Summit on behalf of Algeria.

The President of the Republic was bid farewell at Houari Boumediene International Airport by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, along with Boualem Boualem, the Director of the Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic.

Following the playing of the national anthem, the President inspected a detachment of the Republican Guard that honored him with a formal salute.

“This visit is particularly significant for strengthening the historical bonds of friendship and enhancing bilateral relations between our two countries across various sectors,” stated a communiqué from the Presidency of the Republic.
