ALGIERS — The Algerian President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired Thursday at the Palace of the People in Algiers the ceremony for awarding ranks and medals to general officers and senior officers of the People’s National Army (PNA).
The ceremony is organized to mark the 63rd anniversary of the recovery of national sovereignty.
It took place in the presence of senior state officials, government members, high-ranking PNA officers, as well as national personalities and mujahideen.
Upon his arrival at the Palace of the People, the President of the Republic was welcomed by the delegate minister to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the PNA, General Saïd Chanegriha.
