BECHAR — Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune began a working and inspection visit to the wilaya of Béchar on Thursday, during which he will inaugurate and inspect several development projects.
The President is accompanied on this visit by Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, along with members of the government.
Upon his arrival in Béchar, President Tebboune was welcomed by the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Urban Planning, Brahim Merad, as well as local civil and military authorities.
The presidential plane was escorted by a squadron of fighter jets from the Algerian Air Force, part of the People’s National Army.
