Precious Metals: Gold Remains Steady Above $3,310 an Ounce

Gold prices experienced a slight decline on Thursday following an all-time high earlier in the session. Spot gold settled at $3,317.63 per ounce, reflecting a decrease of 0.8%, while U.S. gold futures fell by 0.5% to reach $3,330.60 an ounce. Despite this minor setback, these figures highlight the resilience of the precious metal, which continues to remain above the significant threshold of $3,300.

In other metals, spot silver decreased by 1.4% to $32.28 an ounce, platinum dropped by 7% to $960.92, and palladium fell by 1.9% to $953.
