Polling stations open for early legislative elections in Senegal

DAKAR – Polling stations opened on Sunday for early legislative elections in Senegal, to elect 165 representatives to the National Assembly for the next five years, local media reported.
Polls opened at 8 a.m. (0800 GMT) and are set to close at 6 p.m., according to the Senegalese Press Agency.
More than 7 million registered voters will choose from 41 party lists or coalitions of parties in this one-round early legislative election.
