The 4th edition of the Pharmacy Exhibition “Alpharma” is set to take place from June 26 to 28 in Annaba, Algeria, with over 80 exhibitors participating, according to a press release issued on Monday. The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, the Minister of Health, and the Governor of Annaba, and will gather pharmaceutical laboratories, wholesalers, distributors, and various key stakeholders in the sector.
More than 25 conferences and symposiums will be held during the exhibition, featuring experts and professors from Algeria and abroad. Key topics include the role of artificial intelligence in pharmacies, pharmacovigilance, biosimilars, probiotics, and dietary supplements. Additionally, over 10 workshops targeting students and young professionals will focus on recent regulations, technologies, and innovations shaping Algeria’s pharmaceutical landscape.
Alpharma aims to expand its African reach by facilitating B2B meetings between Algerian operators and African delegations. This initiative seeks to promote local pharmaceutical product exports and explore new opportunities for growth across the African market.
