Palestinian Resistance Inspired by Glorious Algerian Revolution Sacrifices (Youcef Hamdane)

Youcef Hamdane, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Algeria, emphasized on Thursday in Tissemsilt that “the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupation has been inspired by the glorious Algerian revolution.”
Speaking at a historical conference titled “The Impact of the Algerian Revolution on the Resilience of the Palestinian Resistance,” organized by the Wilaya office of the El-irchad w Al-islah association at the Mouloud Kacem Nait Belkacem Cultural House, Hamdane highlighted that “the Palestinian people have steadfastly resisted the Zionist occupation and have rejected all its plans, one year after the Al-Aqsa flood.”
He added that “the Palestinian people do not accept colonialism, which cannot impose its will upon us,” stressing that “what has been taken by force can only be reclaimed through the use of arms, just as Algeria did to regain its independence from French colonialism.”
Hamdane also underscored that the Palestinian resistance is embraced by the entire Palestinian population, emphasizing that all futile attempts by the Zionist occupier to isolate the resistance from the Palestinian people are destined to fail. He noted that the resistance has proclaimed the slogan: “Bring the war back to the streets for the people to embrace it.”
Additionally, Hamdane praised Algeria’s unwavering official, diplomatic, and popular support for the Palestinian cause across all international forums and occasions.
For his part, parliamentarian and former minister Aboudjerra Soltani stated during the same meeting that “the Algerian liberation war serves as an inspiration for peoples seeking their freedom and independence through both military and diplomatic actions,” adding that “our brothers in Palestine regard the Algerian revolution as a reference and a source of inspiration.”
