Palestinian Political Leader Ismaïl Haniyeh, Assassinated in Tehran

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, announced on Wednesday morning that its Political Bureau Chief, Ismail Haniyeh, was assassinated in a Zionist airstrike in Tehran, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The movement stated in a declaration that their leader was killed in a treacherous Zionist air raid on his residence in Tehran, following his participation in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Iranian President, Mr. Masoud Bashekiyan.

This attack occurred shortly after Haniyeh’s participation in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Iranian President, Masoud Bashekiyan.
