Palestine’s UN Envoy Urges Action Against Ongoing Zionist Aggression

Riyad Mansour, Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has called for urgent international action in response to the escalating Zionist aggression in the occupied West Bank.
On Monday, Mansour sent three identical letters to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the President of the UN Security Council (China), and the President of the UN General Assembly, detailing the intensification of Israeli military raids and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem. His letters come amid the 470-day-long Zionist genocidal war on Gaza, where a ceasefire has been in place since January 19.
According to Mansour, 70 Palestinians, including 10 children, have been martyred in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year. Additionally, hundreds of Palestinian families have been forcibly displaced in the past two weeks, with 15,000 civilians affected by recent Zionist military operations.
He also warned that Zionist leaders and extremist settlers have openly threatened to replicate the Gaza genocide in the West Bank, boasting about their illegal colonization plans aimed at annexing Palestinian land and displacing its indigenous population.
Furthermore, Mansour condemned the Zionist entity’s decision to shut down the UNRWA headquarters in occupied Jerusalem on January 30, describing it as a clear violation of international law and an attempt to seize Palestinian land.
He reiterated Palestine’s calls to the UN Security Council to take immediate action to protect the Palestinian people, hold the Zionist entity accountable for its crimes, and put an end to its ongoing aggression in the occupied territories.
