Pakistan to Host Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN 25 with 60 Nations

Pakistan will host the ninth biennial AMAN (Peace) multinational naval exercise from February 7 to 11 in the northern Arabian Sea near Karachi, featuring participation from 60 countries.

With the theme “Secure Seas; Prosperous Future,” AMAN 25 will combine harbor and sea phases. The harbor phase includes seminars, counter-terrorism demonstrations, and planning sessions, while the sea phase features tactical maneuvers, anti-piracy drills, search and rescue operations, and an International Fleet Review.

The Pakistan Navy emphasizes the exercise’s role in promoting peace and maritime cooperation. Since its inception in 2007 with 28 nations, AMAN has grown into a significant platform for regional security, now drawing over 60 countries and global maritime leaders.
