Over 65% of Palestinians Killed in Gaza Are Women, Children, and Elderly

At least 65% of the Palestinians killed in the ongoing Zionist military offensive on Gaza are women, children, and the elderly, according to Gaza local authorities. A statement from the Gaza-based Government Media Office confirmed that since October 7, 2023, Zionist forces have killed over 18,000 children and 12,400 women, while also wiping out 2,180 families. Additionally, 5,070 families are left with only one surviving member.

The statement reported the tragic loss of 1,400 medical personnel, 212 journalists, and 750 aid workers, while Zionist strikes have decimated Gaza’s healthcare system and attempted to silence truth. Leaked military testimonies and reports from rights organizations reveal that zionist forces have intentionally targeted civilian homes and neighborhoods, leading Gaza authorities to accuse the zionist entity of committing genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The Zionist military resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, 2024, breaking a January ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. Over 52,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed since the offensive began. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Zionist leaders Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes related to the Gaza conflict, while the Zionist entity also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
