Over 20 Aid Agencies Urge UN and World Leaders to Halt Gaza Genocide

More than 20 international aid organizations have appealed to the United Nations and world leaders, urging immediate intervention to halt the Zionist genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. Their joint letter cites the findings of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry, which concluded that the Zionist entity has committed four of the five acts of genocide outlined in the 1948 Convention. The agencies warned that, unless urgent steps are taken, Gaza faces the deadliest period in its history.

The letter highlighted that the Zionist entity’s blockade and relentless attacks risk extinguishing life in Gaza altogether. It condemned the militarization of humanitarian aid, noting that thousands of civilians have been shot while trying to access food and water. The organizations demanded an end to the violence, a lifting of the blockade, and concrete steps to end the occupation, stressing that the humanitarian system itself has become a deadly target.

This call comes as the Zionist entity continues its assault on Gaza City, where two divisions of troops are conducting heavy raids and shelling northern and western neighborhoods, destroying residential towers and civilian infrastructure. Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist entity’s aggression has killed 64,964 Palestinians and wounded 165,312 others. The humanitarian toll is compounded by famine, with three new deaths from malnutrition reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total to 425, including 145 children.
