ORAN – The 7th International Investment Exhibition in industry, construction, energy, logistics and export (Oran Invest Expo) was inaugurated Wednesday at “Mohamed Benahmed” Conference Centre in Oran, with the participation of 153 exhibitors from Algeria and abroad.
The Exhibition brings together 137 national public and private companies specialized in industry and export, as well as foreign companies and representatives of foreign company subsidiaries operating in Algeria from China, Italy, Turkey, India and Venezuela, among others, as well as banking institutions and insurance companies.
45 public economic groups active in sectors of electrical industry, energy, electronics, chemistry, construction, wood and its derivatives, and mining, are participating in this exhibition with the aim of creating effective dynamics between operators and promoting public subcontracting and investment partnerships, while offering a space for exchanges between professionals and economic operators, emphasized the exhibition commissioner, Ahmed Haniche, in a statement to APS.
With the aim of supporting young academics and innovative project carriers, an exhibition space was dedicated to 13 start-ups from various universities, notably from Oran, Tlemcen, Blida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Boumerdes and Bejaia, as well as scientific clubs and innovative project carriers, to allow them to get closer to economic operators and seek opportunities to realize and finance their projects, he added.
