Opening of 20th Session of The Algeria–Mauritania Joint Cooperation Commission

ALGIERS, April 7, 2026– The Algerian Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, co-chaired on Tuesday at the Government Palace (Algiers), alongside his Mauritanian counterpart, Mokhtar Ould Diay, the opening of the 20th session of the Algeria–Mauritania Joint Cooperation Commission.

This session comes within the framework of the positive momentum characterizing bilateral relations between Algeria and Mauritania and reflects the will of the leaders of both countries to elevate bilateral cooperation to higher levels, serving common interests and strengthening the fraternal ties between the two peoples.

The session will focus on examining ways to develop the bilateral partnership, encourage investment, and facilitate trade exchanges, while placing particular emphasis on the development of border regions and the strengthening of economic integration between the two countries.
