Oman’s Musandam Governor Highlights Algeria’s Successful Experiences as Pathway for Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

MUSANDAM (Sultanate of Oman), February 19, 2025 – The Governor of Musandam, Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, declared on Tuesday that “the successful experiences in Algeria” across various sectors are creating avenues for enhanced cooperation and experience-sharing between the two brotherly nations.
He remarked to APS following a press conference held at the Musandam Governorate for media professionals from multiple countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia, “The efforts made by Algeria to develop numerous sectors through the implementation of significant projects represent successful experiences grounded in a development model that fosters the multiplication of opportunities for collaborative progress.”
“We have observed that the Algerian economy has been experiencing robust growth in recent years, reinforcing our belief that Algerian investors can play a pivotal role in revitalizing Oman’s tourism sector and overall investment landscape,” he continued. He emphasized that the desire to strengthen ties and bring the two nations closer together has been evident in recent months through “increased exchanges of experiences between members of the Algerian and Omani governments concerning investments, which will soon pave the way for broader collaborations in various fields.”
Additionally, Saeed Al Ameri, who oversees delegations and foreign missions, noted that the Ministry of Information of the Sultanate of Oman has organized a rich and diverse program for this week. This initiative aims to showcase the country’s tourist, cultural, and historical assets in the governorates of Musandam, Adh-Dhahira, and Al Buraimi, while also highlighting vital development projects through which the Sultanate seeks to promote its cultural heritage.
