Occupation forces order mass evacuation of Gaza neighbourhoods amid intensifying bombardment
The Zionist occupation forces issued mass evacuation orders on Sunday, warning residents of multiple densely populated neighbourhoods in Gaza City and Jabalia of “intensifying military activity” across the northern part of the enclave.
The evacuation order called on residents of at least 17 areas, including eastern Zeitoun, the Old City, Tuffah, Daraj, Sabra, Jabalia al-Balad, Jabalia Camp, and Tel al-Zaatar, to “immediately evacuate south to the Al-Mawasi area”.
Rights groups and Palestinian officials have condemned such forced displacement orders as collective punishment and part of the occupation’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza, which killed over 60 Palestinians across the enclave on Saturday alone.
The Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 56,412 people and wounded 133,054, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
