At the invitation of Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, General Abdourahamane Tiani, President of the Republic of Niger, Head of State, will make a fraternal and working visit to Algeria at the head of an important delegation, on February 15 and 16, the Algerian Presidency said in a statement on Saturday.
This visit aims to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, cooperation, and good neighborliness between the two fraternal countries, within the framework of a new dynamic for the optimal utilization of their capacities and potential, for the benefit of the Algerian and Nigerien peoples, the statement said.
This visit will also represent an opportunity to address political issues related to the African continent in general and the Sahel region in particular, the statement added.
