Nigeria: Army Neutralizes Four Bandits and Rescues Twenty Hostages

On Tuesday, Nigerian troops neutralized at least four bandits and rescued twenty hostages during separate anti-terror operations in Kaduna State (northwest), according to local authorities.
The troops conducted thorough searches of dense bushes believed to be hiding places for the bandits in the local government areas of Birnin Gwari and Giwa. Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna, reported that the operations were successfully executed.
Citing credible intelligence provided by the military prior to the operations, Aruwan noted that a specialized cleanup raid was carried out in one location, while an ambush targeted a bandit escape route in another area. He also mentioned that the rescued victims of kidnapping have been reunited with their families.
