Netherlands: Hundreds of Officials Protest in The Hague in Support of Palestine

A demonstration supporting Palestine, organized by Dutch officials, took place outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague, according to media reports on Thursday.

Sources indicate that the protest, staged as a “sit-in,” attracted several hundred participants. Demonstrators reiterated their call for Dutch authorities to adopt a firmer stance against the Zionist entity and advocate for sanctions against the Zionist occupiers at the European level.

Signs and leaflets criticized the Netherlands’ official policy, particularly the actions of Foreign Minister Kaspar Veldkamp, which were perceived as inadequate for applying genuine pressure on the Zionist entity. Some attendees donned red T-shirts, representing what they termed the “red line” that Western governments should establish in their relations with the Zionist entity to help end the violence in Gaza.

In addition to officials, representatives from pro-Palestinian movements and citizen groups also joined the demonstration.
