Nearly 700,000 m² of Palestinian land seized by Zionist authorities in occupied West Bank

The Zionist occupation authorities recently seized nearly 700 dunums of land (700,000 square meters) across four localities in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Wednesday.
According to WAFA, these seizures took place in the localities of Qalqilya, Deir Istiya, Bidya, and Salfit, involving exactly 694 dunums (694,000 square meters) of territory.
The land belongs to Palestinian families, and the Zionist authorities issued the seizure orders without granting the owners the right to take legal action to recover their property.
The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Muayyad Shaaban, stated that these operations constitute a “dangerous escalation” in the policy of land seizure. He added that they aim to “reorganize Palestinian geography by force, using colonial legal means.” Shaaban also asserted that the land stolen from its Palestinian owners, particularly in Qalqilya, would be used for the construction of a new Zionist settlement.
He specified that through these seizures, the Zionist authorities have completely ignored both the property rights of Palestinians and international law.
