Local media reported on Wednesday that the death toll from the magnitude 7.9 earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28 has risen to 3,798, according to authorities.
In addition to the fatalities, the devastating earthquake has resulted in 5,106 injuries, with 106 individuals still unaccounted for, as per the same source.
A previous report had indicated a death toll of 3,763.
