MOUDAF Condemns Discriminatory Treatment of Algerians at French Airports

PARIS, January 29, 2025 – The Dynamic Movement of Algerians in France (MOUDAF) has voiced its “outrage” over the “discriminatory” treatment that Algerian citizens have encountered at the Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports in France.

In a statement, MOUDAF expressed, “We convey our indignation and deep concern regarding the unacceptable and discriminatory treatment experienced by numerous Algerians in recent days at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports.”

“Consistent testimonies indicate provocative and humiliating behavior from Border Police officials, severely undermining the dignity and fundamental rights of our fellow citizens,” the Movement asserted, condemning “in the strongest terms these disgraceful practices that resemble arbitrary and discriminatory measures, incompatible with the principles of respect and equality upheld by the French Republic.”

Moreover, MOUDAF considers it “unacceptable” for Algerians to be treated “arbitrarily and discriminately,” urging French authorities to “immediately put an end to these intolerable actions.”
