Morocco: Ties with Zionist Entity Slammed as “Existential Threat”

Moroccan anti-normalization organizations agreed unanimously that, five years after the “ominous declaration” of 10 December 2020, normalization “was not a fleeting political blunder, but an existential threat targeting the Nation’s consciousness, its moral resolve regarding Palestine and the national security of the Moroccan people.”
In a statement, these organizations underscored that “rapidly unfolding events have proven that this destructive course has granted the Zionist entity additional leverage to infiltrate Morocco.” They warned that “the core of the danger today is that it compromises the security of Morocco as well as the entire region.”
To counter these threats, the source added, “the Moroccan people stand as a formidable barrier against this normalization process, maintaining an unwavering moral compass and a firm conviction that the Zionist entity poses an existential threat, and that the rejection of normalization remains steadfast regardless of how much time passes.” In a related development, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement noted in a statement that the Makhzen continues to permit the transit of ships carrying Zionist arms shipments, despite the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The movement further said that “welcoming these types of vessels creates direct complicity in supporting the Zionist extermination machine.”
