Missile launched from Yemen towards Zionist entity causes major damage

A missile launched from Yemen towards the Zionist entity on Sunday landed near “Ben Gurion Airport”, where footage shared on social media showed a plume of smoke visible from a passenger terminal.
In a statement on Telegram, Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said the group carried out a “hypersonic ballistic missile” strike targeting “Ben Gurion Airport” this morning.
The statement claimed the strike “successfully hit its target” and urged international airlines to avoid the “unsafe” airport.
The Houthis carried out the attack “in support of the oppressed Palestinian people” and to counter the Zionist occupation’s “crime of genocide” in Gaza, according to the statement.
On Saturday, the Houthi group said it had carried out a missile strike on a military target in the Zionist entity using a newly developed hypersonic ballistic missile, adding that the occupation’s missile defense systems failed to intercept it.
Separately, the U.S. military campaign against Houthi positions in Yemen continues, with the group claiming that since mid-March, the U.S. has carried out 1,300 airstrikes and naval bombardments, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties.
