Minister Attaf arrives in Beirut for official visit

Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Beirut on Saturday evening for an official visit to Lebanon, as a special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The visit aims to strengthen “the fraternal ties and cooperation between the two nations, as well as to explore ways to elevate these relations to new heights.” It also seeks to “reaffirm Algeria’s solidarity and full support for Lebanon as the country embarks on a new chapter in its history, striving to enhance its unity, sovereignty, and meet the aspirations of its people for security, stability, development, and prosperity,” the source added.
During his visit, Minister Attaf is expected to be received by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, to deliver a written message from President Tebboune. Moreover, he will hold bilateral meetings with senior Lebanese officials, as noted in the statement.
