Mediators Announce Terms of Gaza Ceasefire Deal

Media sources have disclosed the terms of a ceasefire agreement between the zionist entity and the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, intended to end over 15 months of conflict in the Gaza Strip.
The agreement, mediated by Qatar, the United States, and Egypt, will take effect on Sunday, January 19, focusing initially on a 42-day first phase involving prisoner exchanges.
During the first phase, Hamas will release 33 hostages, including female civilians, soldiers, children, and civilians over 50 years old, while the Zionist entity will free 30 Palestinian prisoners per civilian hostage and 50 for each female soldier. Fighting is expected to cease, with Zionist forces withdrawing to the Gaza Strip’s edges, allowing displaced Palestinians to return home and facilitating increased aid to the region.
Subsequent phases aim to solidify the truce, achieve a full withdrawal of Zionist troops, and implement reconstruction efforts. The ultimate goals include the reopening of border crossings and the free movement of people and goods. A Palestinian source emphasized the significance of achieving sustainable calm, rebuilding Gaza, and resolving humanitarian issues.
