Mass Exodus from X : Users Flee Elon Musk’s Chaotic Overhaul

Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, renamed it X, and made significant changes like firing much of the staff, many users—including celebrities, public figures, and regular people—have left the platform. Musk’s overhaul of the platform has prompted a steady stream of departures.
Some users blame Musk for turning what was once a fun and engaging platform into a chaotic and toxic space. His decisions, such as allowing controversial figures like Donald Trump back on the platform, have upset many. Others are frustrated by Musk’s immature humor or how he frequently appears in their feeds, often promoting far-right viewpoints.
As a result, many users have moved to alternative platforms like BlueSky, Mastodon, Meta’s Threads, and Reddit. Some have even decided to quit social media entirely.
