BEIRUT – At least 23 people were martyred and 6 others were injured in a Zionist airstrike on Almat, in Mount Lebanon governorate, the Ministry of Health reported on Sunday, warning that the toll could rise further.
According to the Lebanese news agency, the Zionist military aircraft conducted a raid around 2:30 PM on the area between Jebshit and Kfardjal.
The Ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center issued a statement confirming that “the enemy’s (Zionist) raid on Almat, in the Jbeil district, has led to the martyrdom of 23 people, including seven children, according to the latest unconfirmed toll.”
The ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon has claimed the lives of 3,103 martyrs and left 13,819 wounded. In addition, approximately 1.4 million people have been displaced, according to the Ministry of Health’s latest update, published last Friday.
