Lebanon : Beirut flights cancelled or delayed amidst concerns of Zionist occupation offensive

BEIRUT – Flights to and from Beirut airport were cancelled or delayed on Monday as the Zionist occupation forces seem to plan a major attack on southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Middle East Airlines (MEA) chairman, Mohamad El-Hout, told local broadcaster Al-Jadeed that the flight changes at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport were due to “insurance risks”.
Lufthansa LHAG.DE, Swiss and Eurowings of the Lufthansa Group have decided to suspend their flights from and to Beirut up to Aug 5, due to the “current developments” in the Middle East, a group spokesperson said.
Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport is Lebanon’s only airport. It has been targeted in the country’s civil war, and striked by the Zionist occupation forces in 2006.
