Zionist Occupation Causes Largest West Bank Damage Since 2002

On Tuesday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa remarked that the losses endured by Palestinians as a result of assaults by the Zionist occupation forces in the West Bank could be the most significant since 2002. He highlighted the extensive destruction of property and infrastructure, along with a “huge” loss of life.

These statements were made during his weekly government meeting in Ramallah, where he emphasized that the damage caused by the Zionist forces’ operations in the occupied West Bank—particularly to infrastructure—”may be the most extensive since the invasion of Palestinian cities in 2002.” He noted the considerable devastation to property and infrastructure, as well as the massive loss of life amid incursions and sieges on hospitals and medical facilities.

The Prime Minister indicated that technical teams, alongside Palestinian governmental and national institutions, are working “within the constraints of the situation” to rehabilitate roads, water networks, sewage systems, and electricity. He urged international organizations and countries worldwide to intervene and exert pressure to halt the aggressions while holding the Zionist entity accountable for its actions against the Palestinian people.
