Kremlin Warns of Response to Possible Tomahawk Transfer to Ukraine

The Kremlin has warned that Russia will be forced to respond appropriately if the United States decides to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized that Washington is already providing Kyiv with constant intelligence support, further deepening Russia’s concerns over Western involvement in the conflict.

Peskov also commented on Moldova’s recent elections, claiming they were riddled with “irregularities and oddities.” He added that Moscow had expected anti-Russian sentiment in Moldova to eventually give way to a more pragmatic approach, but said this has yet to materialize. He urged Moldova to pursue a course aimed at improving relations with Russia.

On the issue of frozen Russian assets, Peskov stressed that any confiscation “will not go unanswered,” accusing participants in Europe’s debate over potential asset seizures of behaving like a “gang.” Meanwhile, the Kremlin confirmed that President Vladimir Putin will attend the upcoming G20 summit.
