Kremlin: Timing of Putin-Trump Meeting Still Undecided

The date for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump has not yet been determined, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, emphasizing that both leaders “work efficiently and effectively,” but such a summit requires “careful preparation.”

Peskov noted that the meeting stems from “a mutual desire of both presidents,” while dismissing widespread speculation surrounding the preparations as “mostly false.”

He added that Putin will not personally attend the upcoming G20 summit in South Africa, though Russia will be represented “at a high level.” Peskov also confirmed that the Russia-Arab summit will proceed as planned, though its scheduling will require “intensive coordination.”
