Kremlin Says Russia Agrees With Trump That Zelenskyy Is Delaying Ukraine Conflict Resolution

The Kremlin said Russia agrees with US President Donald Trump’s statement that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is delaying a resolution to the Ukraine conflict. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow shares the view that Kyiv’s position is obstructing progress toward a settlement.

Peskov stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin remains open to negotiations and that Russia’s position is well known to both the United States and Ukraine. He added that the situation is deteriorating for Ukraine “day by day,” arguing that the time has come for Zelenskyy to make a decision regarding the path forward.

In separate remarks, Peskov said Putin will address a meeting with newly appointed foreign ambassadors, with his speech expected to focus on Russia’s main foreign policy priorities amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
