Kremlin: Russia-US Work on Ukraine Should Remain Non-Public

The Kremlin said on Tuesday that discussions between Russia and the United States on the Ukrainian issue should be conducted in a non-public format.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed hope that U.S. President Donald Trump’s mediatory efforts to resolve the conflict would continue, stressing that Moscow remains committed to achieving a political and diplomatic settlement.

Peskov added that while no dates have been set for the next meeting between Russian and Ukrainian negotiating groups, the leaders of the delegations remain in contact.
