Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia remains in direct contact with the United States regarding the situation in Ukraine and is being regularly updated on discussions between Washington and Kiev.
Peskov emphasized that each round of talks brings a settlement closer, but any resolution must take Russia’s interests into account. He also noted that Moscow continues to inform Turkiye about increasing threats to the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines and believes Turkiye can help deter reckless strikes against these critical infrastructures in the Black Sea.
