Kremlin Rejects Zelenskyy’s Proposal for Territorial Exchange

The Kremlin firmly dismissed any possibility of discussing territorial exchanges, spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated Wednesday, rejecting a proposal by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Speaking in Moscow, Peskov emphasized that Russia’s stance on its territorial integrity remains unchanged, making it clear that “Russia will never discuss the exchange of its territories.”
Zelenskyy had suggested a potential territorial swap with Russia should U.S. President Donald Trump facilitate negotiations. However, he did not specify which Russian-controlled Ukrainian territories would be involved, stating that all of Ukraine’s land is equally important.
In response, Peskov reiterated that Ukrainian forces present on what Russia considers its territory would be “eliminated and expelled.”
