Kremlin Rejects U.S. Accusations of Stalling Ukraine Peace Talks

The Kremlin on Tuesday denied accusations by Keith Kellogg, special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump to Ukraine, that Russia is deliberately stalling peace talks. Moscow insisted it has fulfilled all agreements reached in negotiations so far.

On Monday, Kellogg stated, “Russia cannot continue to stall for time to bomb civilian targets in Ukraine.”

In response to these remarks, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressed gratitude to Trump’s team for facilitating the talks but stressed that Moscow is not obstructing the process.

“No one is blocking anything here,” Peskov told reporters in Moscow.

He added, “We naturally support achieving the goals of the special military operation through political and diplomatic means. Therefore, we are not interested in prolonging anything.”

Peskov also noted that a date for a third round of talks still needs to be agreed upon.
