Kremlin : Peskov Outlines Expanded Russian Delegation for Ukraine Talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced key details regarding Russia’s forthcoming talks on the situation in Ukraine, confirming that Moscow’s delegation will be expanded and has received detailed instructions from President Vladimir Putin ahead of the negotiations.

According to Peskov, the Russian delegation will include Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, head of Russia’s military intelligence agency (GRU) Igor Kostyukov, and other officials joining Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky. The move reflects Moscow’s effort to strengthen its representation at the negotiations.

The meetings are scheduled to take place in Geneva within the framework of a working group focused on economic issues. The group includes Russia’s special presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev, who is also conducting a separate track addressing economic matters related to the negotiations.

Peskov emphasized that the Russian delegation received comprehensive guidance from President Putin on the eve of its departure, underscoring Moscow’s continued engagement in discussions surrounding the Ukraine situation.
