Kremlin Confirms Trilateral Russia-US-Ukraine Talks Moving Forward

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the trilateral format involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will continue, describing the negotiation process as complex and currently unfolding at the expert level. He noted that an agreement has been reached among the parties to move the talks forward.

According to Peskov, Moscow views the start of direct contacts between Russia, the US, and Ukraine in a positive light, considering them an important step amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the conflict. However, he stressed that the negotiations remain highly complicated, requiring sustained technical and expert-level engagement.

In a related development, Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ahmed al-Sharaa are expected to discuss issues linked to the presence of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria during upcoming talks at the Kremlin, indicating that regional security matters will also feature prominently on the agenda.
