Kremlin Confirms Putin-Pezeshkian Talks on 17 January

The Kremlin has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on 17 January during Pezeshkian’s official visit to Russia.
The talks will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, transport, logistics, and humanitarian issues. Additionally, the leaders are expected to discuss key regional and international matters.
Following the discussions, Putin and Pezeshkian will sign a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran, and hold a joint press statement.
