Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia is awaiting the “important announcement” promised by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Russia, scheduled for next Monday.
Trump had earlier told NBC News in an interview that he would make a “very serious” statement concerning Russia on July 14, without revealing further details.
According to a Reuters report citing informed sources, Trump is expected to pledge $300 million in military aid to Ukraine if re-elected, using U.S. reserve funds through executive authority.
